Carnaval 2013

Every year San Felipe Baja Mexico carnival is celebrated in February, this coming weekend. The small fisherman town comes to life, growing in the population by tourists coming to celebrate in the festivities. The theme for carnaval this year is, "Magic of the Circus". There will be parades, dancing, food, crowning of the annual queen, and lots more fun for 4 straight days.

Carnaval is time to dress up and be wild. It's like Mardi Gra in New Orleans in March. A huge Carnaval celebration for days on end. Events like crowning the kingdom: Queen, King, and Princess. Or the burning of the Bad Moods Man, or bands and dancing throughout the streets day and night. this is one of the best times to visit Baja Mexico. Experience something different than your average parade or school carnival. It's time to get dressed up in wild, flashy and colorful costumes or clothes, and put on your masquerade mask and join in on the carnaval fun.
