Renter's Insurance

Do you know it's smart to purchase renters insurance even if you are renting a vacation rental for a couple of weeks? You never know what could or might happen during your stay. Wouldn't you rather have the insurance pay for any damages, instead of you? Many people don't think of purchasing renters insurance, and when a mishap happens the property manager is most likely wont pay for the damages. It's on your head.
Most properties sell insurance,  or give it as an option, be smart and get some or it's written in their contract that you have to renters insurance. Usually insurance is not too expensive, but in the wrong run it's better to be safe then sorry. Renters insurance covers damages, vandalism, and stolen goods. The property already has insurance on the property itself. What's inside is what the property owners don't want to deal with.

  1. I wouldn't really have thought about renter's insurance, but it's definitely a good idea for vacationers. Accidents can happen at any time and it could certainly ruin an otherwise great vacation if you're stuck with repair bills to the rental property.
