The days are getting longer and that means more sunshine in Baja. the golf course is in great condition considering its the middle of winter. Fishing remains great and the desert is always beautiful. Booking for teh Baja 250 are in full swing, if you haven't booked you better soon as we only have a couple of property's still available.

Finnaly the weather is cooling and visitors are flocking to San Felipe to enjoy the weather and relaxation. The golf course opens theis saturday and is offering a 2 for 1 special for opening week.

The summer season in is full swing, the water temperature is great for swimming. The golf course renovation is looking good with green grass sprouting around the course, the driving range remains open for those willing to forgo the heat.

The summer has been busy, with guests nearly every weekend. The water is warm and perfect for spending the day at the beach. Fishing has been great and should continue to be hot through the summer months. There is plenty going on in town with live music and karaoke. Had Tacos at our favorite Taco stand tonight and again two thumbs up! :-) If your looking for a weekend getaway, visit La Casa Bailante, you wont regret it.

The 4th of July weekend has arrived, there are many activities scheduled for the weekend, the weather should be perfect and the town should be hopping. Food you ask, yes there will be street vendors out and the usual spots are always a good beet for food and spirits. You may want to check out the fishing contest at the malicon or the fireworks along the beach. Have fun and bee safe!

With the 4th of July weekend fast approaching places are beginning to fill up, if you haven't made your reservations I recommend you get on it. There will be plenty to do here on the ranch and in town. There will be a fireworks display on the beach. The 2009 Baja California Governors' Cup fishing tournament will be held July 3&4. Of course the Rocodile will be rockin. Summer rates are on at the golf course and of course plenty of room at the pool and bar.

Tomorrow around noon the Baja 500 racers will be racing just north of San Felipe. The race begins and ends in Ensenada. The first racers through will be the Motorcycles and ATV followed by the Trophy trucks.

The golf course is greening up nicely, the greens are putting true, summer rates are in effect, there is no better way to spend an afternoon than on the course with unbelievable views of the Sea of Cortez from every hole.

With the holiday weekend here, town is beginning to fill. The weather looks to be cooperating with highs in the upper 80's. The roadside food vendors are out in force, I did have a couple of taco's from my favorite stand, they were great as always. La Casa Bailante is rented for the weekend, we hope our guests have a enjoyable and memorable weekend. The Rockadile appears to be the place for music and activities this weekend, with a Jell-O pool and t-shirt contest ( just reporting the facts). I also heard the fishing is great from now through the summer, more info to follow. The golf course is greening up and the putting surfaces are waiting for action, summer rates go into effect June 1st.

Good morning from beautiful Baja, the sun is out and it looks to be another awesome day. Last night we experienced one of San Felipe's roadside taco stands ( they were great!). Many of the snow birds are heading back up North making it very easy for all of the vacationers to get around. San Felipe is a great destination just 2 hours south of the border, don't worry it is very safe here! The drive from Mexicali is easy and you should have no problems. Enjoy the weekend.......................................

With the weekend over its back to the work week. Mondays weather calls for winds 10 to 15 mph and warm. Monday is men's day at the golf course, green fees are reduced to $35. The golf course is greening up with the arrival of the warm weather. The Snow Birds are beginning to leave and the traffic will be light.
